Very clean and spacious, attractive room, huge comfortable bed with good quality bed linen, big TV, spacious bathroom, large shower cubicle and great towels, first meal in the restaurant was delicious (beef bourguignon), good local ale at a reasonable price, breakfast was mixed but full English was very good. Dark haired lady on duty on our first night was lovely, friendly and very professional (apologies for not having a name). Contact via the app was good and the code access worked well. We enjoyed our stay.

Built around 1590 as a miner's cottage known as 'Dove Cottage', The Langstrath Country Inn is a small family-run property offering accommodation in Stonethwaite. Parking is available. Absolutely everything. Great welcome, lovely room, stunning views, amazing dinner and breakfast, great service and delicious packed lunch. Chef deserves 2 hats! Cosy and atmospheric too.

Staff were lovely and very attentive, always asking if everything was OK. Breakfast was delicious. Bed was very comfy. Even went above and beyond to change our room as couldn't manage the stairs. Three Shires Inn is a family-run inn set in Little Langdale, in the heart of the Lake District National Park. Perfect location. Small but lovely room with everything we needed, comfy bed, nice bathroom etc. Excellent breakfast and evening meals. Friendly service. We will come again.

This hotel is situated in the centre of the village of Bowness-on-Windermere, just 2 minutes’ walk from the World of Beatrix Potter Attraction. Wi-Fi is free in public areas. Although located near the Tavern the rooms were quiet with no noise. The room had all amenities needed. The location was excellent - close to lots of bars, restaurants and shops as well the lake.

This traditional 17th-century Cumbrian inn is set in the Eden Valley, between the old market towns of Appleby and Penrith. Breakfast was outstanding! Loved the cozy feel and it was a one stop shop with pub, restaurant and accommodation all in one! Excellent!!!
