Set in Dearham, 26 km from Buttermere, The Old Mill Inn offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Very clean and spacious, attractive room, huge comfortable bed with good quality bed linen, big TV, spacious bathroom, large shower cubicle and great towels, first meal in the restaurant was delicious (beef bourguignon), good local ale at a reasonable price, breakfast was mixed but full English was very good. Dark haired lady on duty on our first night was lovely, friendly and very professional (apologies for not having a name). Contact via the app was good and the code access worked well. We enjoyed our stay.

Excellent clear communication re booking and self-check in. Good location, reasonably priced. Comfortable, clean accommodation, included continental breakfast.

Built around 1590 as a miner's cottage known as 'Dove Cottage', The Langstrath Country Inn is a small family-run property offering accommodation in Stonethwaite. Parking is available. Amazing location, very friendly staff and super food. With many just having a drink after walking the fells, we felt quite privileged to be staying here

Located in Barrow-in-Furness, Ormsgill Inn features free WiFi access and free private parking. Guests can enjoy a drink at the on-site bar, as well as the pool table and darts board. Nice warm, friendly welcome - shown to room, rather than being left to find own way. Bonus to find out breakfast was included. Lovely & clean. Customers also very friendly. Excellent value.

Situated in Levens, 18 km from World of Beatrix Potter, The Hare and Hounds, Levens features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The guidebook in the room was very helpful and provided information about things to do in the Lake District area, by foot or car. I took a 45 minute walk around the nearby farm and enjoyed quiet, scenic views. The unit we stayed in consisted of a large living room, full kitchen, bedroom, and bath with shower and tub. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant, both meals were scrumptious. There was a great vibe at dinner and it was clear that this is not just a spot for guests, but also popular with the locals. Parking was available just across the street. We would definitely stay here again.

Three Shires Inn is a family-run inn set in Little Langdale, in the heart of the Lake District National Park. Perfect location. Small but lovely room with everything we needed, comfy bed, nice bathroom etc. Excellent breakfast and evening meals. Friendly service. We will come again.

This hotel is situated in the centre of the village of Bowness-on-Windermere, just 2 minutes’ walk from the World of Beatrix Potter Attraction. Wi-Fi is free in public areas. Although located near the Tavern the rooms were quiet with no noise. The room had all amenities needed. The location was excellent - close to lots of bars, restaurants and shops as well the lake.

This traditional 17th-century Cumbrian inn is set in the Eden Valley, between the old market towns of Appleby and Penrith. The owners treated us like family and took our invalidity into account with us asking.

Your perfect lakes escape begins here, at our family-run hotel situated in the bustling village of Braithwaite. This was a very comfortable place to stay. We stayed in 6 different locations on a 2 week tour of England and frankly this was the best bed of any place we stayed. The room was so comfortable. Loved our stay in this recently renovated hotel. We hiked in Whinlatter Forest and explored Keswick, The Ruddings was situated perfectly in the middle. The staff were very helpful, food was delicious, and as someone traveling in a car, there was plenty of parking!
