Great Breakfast. Dinner is excellent. Absolutely delicious. Staff is so friendly.

Staff r really helpful and polite.The price included breakfast and dinner which is quite worth.There are many varieties of food availble.Hotel provided shuttle bus fr Sapporo station to hotel at the price of only 1100 yen.

Overall this is good hotel. dinner is very nice especially onsen is very great

very friendly staff, great outdoor onsen, good location, free and easy parking, free water; great store buy anything one needs on the road. There was a sauna we did not use neither the 1st floor onset. Unfortunately we drove far away from the place and could not make it to their exceptional open kitchen dinner. There was a coffee free to use outside breakfast. It is partially renovated and seemed we stayed in the old part but it was very comfortable and nice apartment we were pleasantly surprised by.

We had a great stay in this hotel. The location is great and the staff very helpful. The dinner was awesome, we highly recommend it. Great place.

Boken Kazoku was very cozy and comfortable. The staff was by far the best part. They were kind, helpful, and very knowledgeable of the area. We loved the dinner we had there as well and the deer in the curry was shot by Ana-san, one of the owners! Very rustic indeed :) The rooms were great though with traditional futons. We had a heater in the room, a lovely view outside, and a nice communal kitchen as well.

I felt very welcome as soon as I arrived. The owner had provided a detailed description of how to reach the inn beforehand which made it super easy to find. The location of the property is excellent, only about 5min walking distance from Hakodate station. The room was clean and had everything I needed and the bath was very relaxing. If I'm back in Hakodate, I'll definitely stay at Pension Puppy Tail again!

The host drove us to the town for dinner and picked us back to the pension afterward.

A clean, comfortable and friendly place to stay. We loved our host and found it easy to get to the ski field on the provided shuttle.Breakfast was tasty but we didn’t try dinner as we needed to book it in advance. The pension is also not a huge walk from the resort if one decides to take a stroll.
