Decorated with art works designed by artists, ARtINn 極寒藝術伝染装置 is located 3 km from Lake Kussharo. The property is situated 10 km from Lake Mashu and 400 metres from Kawayu Hot Spring. Very spacious room, even had a private onsen indoor and outdoor and a balcony. The guest house is also an art gallery, so there are interesting pieces everywhere. There are several restaurants within 1-2 blocks walk. We were there to visit Lake Kussharo and other parts of Akan Mashu National Park, very convenient location. The staff left us park maps and information. There is even a picnic basket and mini-fridge in the room.

Situated in Otaru, 600 metres from Otaru Station, 石と鉄-House of STONE and IRON features accommodation with a terrace, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. It’s not my first time visiting Otaru, but Stone and Iron made me wanna visit Otaru again! I was already very excited when I booked this historical stone house. It is more amazing than what I expected! The owner Hiro is a super nice host and excellent chef. We enjoyed so much having our dinner in his lovely stone house. Food is fantastic! We had a good sleep as it’s so quiet. The stone house looks stunning in the snow!
