Very nice spacious Japanese style room, with newly furnished floors and bathrooms (the lobby was simple and under construction, so seeing the super clean room was a pleasant surprise!). I liked that the toilet and shower are separate rooms, there were amenities available to take, mini fridge, tea/coffee and bottled water. It was nice that we could also leave our luggage before check in (although it is strictly at 3PM since the owner is working on the construction himself). We could also see the Fujisan from our window, and is a short walk to the famous Honcho street, Gekkouji train station, a big supermarket and Arakuyama Sengen Shrine.
