Seeming Lodge is located in Nuwara Eliya, within 5.2 km of Gregory Lake and 12 km of Hakgala Botanical Garden. At the inn, each room comes with a balcony. The owner and his brother came to pick us up at Nanu Oya station. In the evening they cooked different curries for us, the food was some of the best we had in Sri Lanka. The next day the owner drove us to Horton Plains National Park, Damro Tea Plantation and a waterfall. Thank you for the hospitality, the great conversations and the sightseeing. We enjoyed it very much.

Everything was great, we loved it so much. Thanks to the homestay my friend and I had a very authentic Sri Lankan experience with a lovely family. We were picked up at the railway station by Ruki, who was waiting for us when we arrived. The breakfast was the best food I have had so far in Sri Lanka (thanks to Nilu's cooking skills). We took a tour to all the viewpoints in Hatton offered by Ruki in his tuktuk and it is the best you can do when in Hatton. Also he took us to the Adam's peak at night at 01:00 am and waited for us while we were hiking up and down (6 hours!) and took us back to Hatton, on the way we stopped at various beautiful sights/viewpoints. The room was clean and the garden of the house is beautiful. Nilu and Ruki are lovely people, so warm and welcoming! Thanks for everything ♥️

Situated in Nuwara Eliya, 4.6 km from Gregory Lake, Green Villa features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The family is the kindest ever. They took care of me from the beginning. From bringing tea to extra blankets to helping you out with the local busses. If you want to have a Sri Lankan experience, I highly recommend going to Green Villa. Both breakfast and dinner are good. Also, it's on walking distance from Pedro tea plantation and the waterfall.

Beautiful cottage with very friendly and helped us to get a driver with whom we did a tour in Nuwara Eliya. We had a really nice stay and we could choose between English and Sri Lankan breakfast.

Located 2 km away from Gregory Lake; 5 minutes walk from the city, Mount Mary Inn features a terrace and views of the mountain. Free private parking is available on site. Ideal location, stable wifi & there is a kitchen but allowed only for tea/coffee or light cooking like noodles. They arranges tours for a very reasonable prices.

Featuring a terrace, restaurant and views of river, Rock View Rest Hatton is set in Hatton, 44 km from Gregory Lake. The pictures don’t do the surroundings justice. The house(s) has a ramshackle charm and the setting is top notch, especially for the price. I went swimming in the river my first day and laid out on the rocks. you can hear the waterfalls from your room while you sleep. Ravi is an honest and welcoming host who really makes you’re going to have a good stay. He also has top notch recommendations and thankfully convinced me to stay more than just one night as my only plan in hatton was to hike Adam’s peak. But the Gartmore waterfall and swimming there was a highlight of my trip.
