I loved this place! It has been one of my favorites during my trip in Sri Lanka! Nilu and Rucki are amazing hosts and they made sure I had a great stay in Hatton. The room is spacious, clean, comfortable, quiet and you also have your own space in the garden to relax. The whole family is absolutely lovely, the food was very good (big portions) and they also helped me do my laundry. Nilu has been most helpful during my whole stay and I had a great time chatting with her! Rucki also drove me around the countryside areas around Hatton, which was amazing. They also picked me up and sent me back to the railway station at the beginning and at the end of my stay. I would absolutely stay here again! Hatton is a great base to visit the area near Adam’s Peak. It is a small, non-touristy local town with great scenery, tea fields, waterfalls, rice paddies, mountain views, Tamil villages and temples. It gives you a much more authentic experience than staying in Ella, so I would absolutely recommend a stop in Hatton on the way to Kandy or Ella!

Robert is amazing! very warm welcome with tea and biscuits. The room is clean and cozy and it had hot good shower.

Located 2 km away from Gregory Lake; 5 minutes walk from the city, Mount Mary Inn features a terrace and views of the mountain. Free private parking is available on site. Host was really friendly and facility was very very clean, tidy. Only a few minutes walk from the center. Very quiet and peacefull. Higly recomended. I hope to go back and stay longer next time. We have a fabulous time at the Travellers Inn. The building is modern, spacious, and bright and the rooms were large with great bathroom. A highlight was the gorgeous common area with fantastic views of the mountains. We were well looked after by Lakmini (who is a great cook) and her son Ruka. We also recommend you try the vegetable soup while you are there - hearty and delicious 🥰

Objekat Adams Peak Inn, koji je smešten u gradu Nallathanniya, na 7 min. Clean room. Clean washroom. Very tasy food by inhouse team. They even packed sandwiches for the hike. Friendly and attentive staff (special mention Satheesh). Got delayed at the peak but they didn't charge extra for late checkout. Very close to the entrance. Parking available. Very reasonable price.

Easy to reach from the city, nice knowledgable host, comfortable room, nice warm tea, nice company with other hikers. Notify the host if you plan on arriving early as he's also a guide and might be busy in the mornings. He made sure we could keep our backpacks at the property by calling his friend to unlock the house gate so we can explore the city, but it would have been nice on our part to inform him beforehand. The indian restaurants in this city is exceptional, so don't miss out!

Objekat Rock View Rest Hatton, koji se nalazi u gradu Haton, na 44 km od znamenitosti Jezero Gregori, nudi pogled na reku. the family running the stay are very nice, I booked budget room but I was upgraded to the deluxe room with balcony facing the river at no extra cost. I ended up extending my stay as I liked the Homestay, family and area so much. The included breakfast was delicious and I was given options of what I wanted (not been offered that anywhere else) I had dinner every evening as the home cooked rice and curry was so tasty. plenty of options on day trips and things to do provided by the family. bed super comfy and really nice hot showers. I loved my stay here. I’d definitely stay again
