We really enjoyed our stay at Winwood Ella and we will definitely come back! Our room was just perfect with a lot of love to detail and we had a balcony with a great view into the jungle. The people running this place are some of the kindest we’ve ever met!

Amazing place to stay the view was outstanding, very comfortable and clean. The couple that owns it were so friendly and helpful, breakfast was really good and the location was perfect only a short walk to the town centre. If you’re staying in Ella you should definitely stay here!

The name of this place stands for itself. The hotel offers stunning views and breath-taking sunrise, overlooking the mountains, a waterfall and a train line at the same time. just WOW. Location is not quite central, but very quite. Anyways is a short drive to the town centre (only a few min) and if you have no transport Shan will gladly drop you down to the town. Shan is very humble, but at the same ready to help with anything you may need. Overall amazing experience. Great breakfast as well - was delicious! If I am ever back to Ella, there is no way I can exchange these views for another place.

The host is very nice. When we arrive, we drive tutu to pick us up at the railway station and take us to the bus station when we leave.

We were treated like family by Krishan and Hansi they got us lovely food - breakfast and tea was superb! The room was wonderfull and clearness. I spent a night here and I really enjoy it.it is astonishing the view.

Some rooms feature a seating area for your convenience. host was super sweet and helpful, food was AMAZING (get the Sri Lankan breakfast and eat it outside on the rock tables, you won’t be disappointed). view is really lovely. accomodation is basic and cosy and clean abs there is a local bar attached so sometimes there are cute parties. located 4 mins tuk tuk or 15 mins walk from the train station. all round cute place and great value for money
