Amazing place to stay the view was outstanding, very comfortable and clean. The couple that owns it were so friendly and helpful, breakfast was really good and the location was perfect only a short walk to the town centre. If you’re staying in Ella you should definitely stay here!

Lavendra Paradise localiza-se em Ella, a 5,3 km de Ponte dos Nove Arcos de Demodara e a 49 km de Hakgala Botanical Garden. A very cozy guesthouse with exceptional staff. Probably the best breakfast view in whole Sri Lanka. Literally it feels like you are a part of a Jurassic World. Also the breakfast itself is very tasty and includes whole set of dishes (European, Sri Lankan, fruity). Big thanks to the owner and his mom for such a tasty experience with a spectacular view.

Shan and the team went out of their way to make our stay unforgettable. The Sri Lankan breakfast was a piece of art. Having breakfast on the porch with a view of Ella Rock was one of the highlights of the day. The room was very comfortable and spacious. We will definitely stay there again.

The stay at this homestay was incredible… the view, the room, the bathroom, the breakfast, the owner family, everything was perfect. I would definitely recommend you to stay here when you plan to come to Ella!

Wood Heart situa-se em Ella, a 5,3 km de Ponte dos Nove Arcos de Demodara, e dispõe de acomodações com um salão partilhado, estacionamento privado gratuito e um terraço. Wow, what can I say? Salinga and his family were charming. We were treated like extra special house guests from the moment we were collected from Ella station to when Salinga drove us 4 hours to our next destination in Mirissa. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful and on the second night we were offered the chance to eat home made rice and curry. The room is spacious albeit basic (no toiletries, but provided when we said we hadn't bought any with us). But it is comfortable and provides everything you need. What is the stand out is the outside space, the verandah overlooking the mountains and waterfall. Sitting there for breakfast and dinner watching the abundant wildlife, so beautiful. We even woke up early to witness the sunrise from the roof of the property. During our stay Salinga recommended a Tuk Tuk driver who was constantly available if we needed to be taken to the town, or for a day's sightseeing in the area. Although Wood Heart is set on the side of the mountain (there are many steps down/up to the property, so beware if you aren't too mobile) it is still possible to walk to and from the town in about 10 minutes along the railway line, an experience in itself. As I said the family went out of their way to make you feel welcome and we're the ultimate hosts. Salinga even arranged for someone to take us from our hotel in Mirissa to Colombo airport with a sightseeing stop in Galle. Wood Heart is like an oasis of calm in paradise. Try and visit if you can, they are currently extending the property upwards to provide 2 extra rooms, perfect for extended families or a group of friends.

Apresentando um jardim, Mango Shadow Inn Ella encontra-se em Ella, na área de Badulla District, a 5,6 km de Ponte dos Nove Arcos de Demodara e a 49 km de Hakgala Botanical Garden. The owner was a very kind person and served me a very delicious traditional Sri Lankan breakfast. He also arranged a tuk tuk and sunrise tour of Ella Rock during my stay. It's a little far from the city, but you can get there in about 10 minutes through the train rail path. Nice, quiet and cozy home. Will definitely come back to this place!
