I was absolutely taken away by the premises of this mini zoo. We stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment. It was very spacious, we had animals in our backyard, and we could freely walk around the zoo after hours, which probably was the best part when you're staying with children.

Clean room, very good breakfast, helpfull staff, free wifi worked well. Lake and beach at short walk, center of Smiltene too. Neighborhood was nice and quiet.

Perfect location, just next to the Jomas iela promenade. Close to the beach. Very friendly and open staff. And one could have pub in the downstairs for eating and drinking at the spot. Car could be parked for free at the backyard. Nice place to stay, definitely we'll be back.
