The beds were all very comfortable and great that most had ensuite bathrooms. Clean and very well equipped. Good water activities. Rob was very friendly and helpful.

Just 2 minutes’ walk from Lake Taupo, Acapulco Motor Inn offers air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi, flat-screen satellite TV and a DVD player. Everything was perfect! Our room was already heated for us when we got there. The bed was quite comfortable, and the room was well-kept, spotless, and spacious. Hot shower with excellent water pressure! Wonderful place to stay! Highly recommended!

Amazing place, great location and Joy is a fantastic host! Would highly recommended! Having a nice, clean single room at such a low price was very appreciated and the commun area is perfect to work or to meet other travelers. Big kitchen!

We can’t say enough nice things about our stay at Mangawhai Lodge. If we could give a “12,” we would. Jeanette was a terrific hostess, and welcomed us warmly. Every interaction was enjoyable. She made our breakfast to order and was delicious.
