Located in the heart of Paihia, Chalet Romantica offers apartment like accomodation. This property features a heated indoor pool and a hot tub. The location is amasing. The lady who welcomed us and looked after us throughout our stay was really lovely. Available and remarkably kind. The bedding, the kitchen, the balcony and the breathtaking view make this a unique place. I recommend this place for a romantic getaway. We were on the top floor, which I highly recommend. A most romantic place.

Offering free WiFi and free parking, Mangawhai Lodge is located at Mangawhai Heads, halfway between Auckland Airport and the Bay of Islands. Amazing hospitality from the owner, Jeanette. The Beachcomber room was well appointed and had spectacular views across to Mangawhai beach. We would return just for Jeanette's cooked breakfast!
