In Stone House is located in a quiet area of Goreme National Park, in the picturesque village of Cavusin. It is built in a historical house with a courtyard and terraces, offering views of Cappadocia and the hot air balloons. My friend and I both loved this hotel, a true gem of a place. We shared a room with two beds and it was cleaned to perfection upon request. Breakfast was fantastic. It was a lovely buffet in the classic Turkish style with breads, cheeses, eggs, olives, cucumbers, tomatoes, cakes, fruits, endless tea and coffee---simply delicious. The view of the balloons was wonderful, including from the rooftop terrace, but also from our room. The staff was phenomenal. Five star all the way. I didn't get her name but the head cook actually stood at the front door to bid us good-bye on our final day. I felt like royalty. The employees here understand what hospitality means. Great value for money too. A winner.

Nevsehir Kapadokya Airport is 48 km from Serinn House. A shuttle service can be arranged upon request with an additional fee. Urgup Is absolutely a gem, less touristic than Goreme and the stay at Serinn is a completely stunning experience. Eren, the owner, is so sweet and always available for good suggestions and help to find the best solution to explore Cappadocia. The place is wonderful and every detail is perfect.

You can start off your day with a wholesome breakfast out on our delightful terrace. Discover the rock formations typical for this region, known as fairy chimneys, and visit the wonderful Göreme National Park, listed as world heritage by UNESCO. The evening discussion over tea with Faruk and my son, the father and original founder of this establishment was a highlight for me. Faruk had so much knowledge of current world affairs, stories to tell, and wisdom about life in general and the evolution of society in general. Then on the hotel side, the breakfast served by Faruk's wife.. Every ingredient fresh and either grown from their own garden or carefully picked from local producers. The jams were homemade and a real delight, and the omelette and cheese... Starting the day over this very healthy and plentiful breakfast was a real treat. Sahin, their son and the manager of the hotel was kind and providing good advice on how to make the best out of our stay - for example advising us to take the green tour instead of the red tour we had booked to be able to benefit from the opportunity to visit the underground city and the transportation to take us to sites we would not otherwise have been able to see. The rooftop terrace offered a fantastic vista from which to see the hot air balloons rise at sunrise.

Very good value for money. Central location. Lovely cave rooms. The receptionist even helped carry our luggage to the bus terminal!

Enjoy biking, hiking or horse riding tours as you explore this unique region. It was a proper cave experience. Staf was very helgul and friendly. Location is perfect gor tourists and 1st time stays. Rooms are like caves a bit dark and low lights that can itritate you at point. And washrooms have a bit of a smell as there are no proper exhaust fans
