Built in 1836, the bed and breakfast boasts antique furnishings and architecture along with free WiFi. Very comfortable beds. Unique shower in the Catherine suite. Property is beautiful. Breakfast was a lot of food. We didn’t ask but wondering if they would have options for vegans ( everything was animal products based), so if you are a vegan better ask. It is very close walking distance to the city square. Lots of books to read while in the B&B about civil war etc. Wine and Cheese at 5-6pm every night was a blast. Love meeting new people.

The nearest airport is Asheville Regional Airport, 127 km from the inn. The room was cozy (two adults one child). The rooms are in small houses and have a porch and parking space directly a the door. There was quiet in wall air-conditioner, and a small kitchenette with a microwave and some dishes and a fridge. The owner was very friendly and told us lots about the area. He has obviously put lots of effort into the grounds which are very quaint and clean. I can highly recommend this place
