Stellenhof Guest House is a modernised old farm. During our stay, they were completing the new reception. The rooms in the main building are spacious and equipped with all modern necessities. The domes in the garden are very nice, with a normal bathroom and an outside shower. The staff is excellent with a good restaurant for breakfast and dinner. We did enjoy or stay, quite near Addo Elephant Park.

Our stay at The Whyte House was a delightful experience. The rustic charm of the guest house coupled with its lush gardens created a serene atmosphere. The owners were welcoming and the presence of the friendly dogs added a comforting and homely feel to the overall ambiance.

A warm welcoming by sis Bongi, before we even arrived checking us at what time are we gonna be checking in, sending the location. When we arrived doing the orientation, for each and every room up to dinning place. The rooms are very clean, comfortable beds with, extra warm blankets and electric blankets. Thank you so much sis Bongi, next time we come again to Umtata definitely we gonna be sleeping at Shoes guest house. Such a lovely place

It was like going back in time which is exactly what we anticipated when we booked this historic inn.

Cozy guest house with everything you need, e.g. community lounge area and nice breakfast terrace. Friendly staff and good breakfast. We can also recommend the owner's cafe next door (Tsitrus Cafe) for dinner.

The guest house owner was very accommodating and friendly. the room was excellent and very clean. The bed was comfortable, and the corner bath was appreciated after a long day on the road. The owner started his generator for us as there was loadshedding when we arrived. we had an excellent dinner and breakfast at the guest house.

Lindie was a wonderful and gracious hostess who made us feel at home in this beautifully rustic and intimate (there are just 2 chalets at Sunset B&B) setting. Accommodation is clean, comfortable and thoughtfully laid out,. We chose to have dinner and breakfast there, (going with Lindie's recommendation of catch of the day)- both excellent! It was truly a special experience in a special part of the world!

the guest house is at the end or the beginning of the trip through the baviaans. the cottage has everything for self catering even some tea and coffee although im not sure its always there. clean comfy bed, hot shower, braai(no wood), pots and pans and a hot plate and fridge. a superb host or was very helpful with the little hike to see the rock art.
