Altough it was the holiday season (christmas) usually all markets are closed in austria. but there was a small shop near reception where we could buy stuff which was convenient. friendly staff. it is very close to the halstätter lake walk there is nice.

The parking was easy even with a bigger car and the apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed. In the garden there were animals and a well equipped playground. It is a good starting point to explore the neighbourhood. Hallstatt, Bad Ischl and the cable car to Dachstein Krippenstein is just a short car ride away.

We enjoyed all the small talks we had over the days of our stay. The room and accommodation was excellent. Breakfasts were great with good selection of cheese, ham, fruits, cereals and eggs. What we really enjoyed was a view from window - we saw Krippenstein and mountains directly from our bed :-)JanCzech Republic

We took a boat ride to Halstatt and came back by bus. We really liked the quiet surroundings of Obertraun and the Chalet. We were met late at night (around 9pm) by Lisa - a charming young lady - who walked us up to Apt 3 and showed us around. We highly recommend this place.

The accomodation was really beautiful and equipment and furniture obviously new. Nice wiew on Krippenstein from the balcony. Breakfast was really good.
