More about the village.
More about the village. Lunch options are extremely limited during end of summer- autumn if returning back from walking so plan to take extra on walks. So be prepared ! There is a kind of take away bakery but it's mostly prepared/ fast food. Restaurant options for dinner are limited esp vegan, many are closed this time of year, apart from Alpine Gables and the Thai near garage- excellent food and service although seats' fabric are in need of a good clean.Stiles

The caravan park was opposite the shopping precinct allowing easy access to grocery shops etc. The caravan park fronted Lake Jindabyne and so had a nice outlook, although the cabin didn't have a view. It was a 30 minute drive to Thredbo, so this location provided easy access to Mt Kosciuszko.
