More about the village. Lunch options are extremely limited during end of summer- autumn if returning back from walking so plan to take extra on walks. So be prepared ! There is a kind of take away bakery but it's mostly prepared/ fast food. Restaurant options for dinner are limited esp vegan, many are closed this time of year, apart from Alpine Gables and the Thai near garage- excellent food and service although seats' fabric are in need of a good clean.Stiles

I got excellent customer service, with the hotel offering to move my reservation at no extra cost. I thought that was kind and thoughtful. They also are riders themselves so that is quite cool. Overall, a great location for hiking and riding carefree in beautiful mountain roads!
