The hotel is located at the old city centre, but is in the middle between the new city centre, the markets, the Canton fair with a free shuttle bus as well. The area is safe and you can feel it. I would prefer it though if they renovated it. I am staying there again on my next business trip here

Free shuttle bus gets you there in 15 minutes or you can use the Metro station right next to it to get there in a similar time. Starbucks and Mcdonalds below the hotel are great options for breakfast if you dont want Chinese style breakfast. Rooms are comfy and well equipped. Mine had its own kitchen area. China bank also located directly below so conveniant for chaning money. Not that anyone in China wants cash these days. its Wechat or Alipay everywhere now, inclouding mcdonalds!
