Be careful! Proceed with caution If you go on a trip with Rio Celeste Hideaway Hotel (better yet, don’t trust them. I wish I hadn’t). My trip with them almost ended in death. I was lucky and got away with a broken shoulder and cuts and bruises all over my body.AAnonymousCanada

Highlight was just sitting on the porch though, with views of the mountain, watching humming birds and toucans and dozens of other colourful birds happy to come right up to the garden. Really enjoyed our brief stay here

If you love nature and wildlife, this is the place for you!! The home was clean and Kamal and Bertha were excellent hosts. They provided many recommendations for activities around the property and we were very happy with all their suggestions. This property is in a great location if you want to visit Rio Celeste waterfall, sloths tours and chocolate tours. I highly recommend this property.

The staff were friendly and as all of the restaurants in the area close when the National park closes at 4pm, they made special exceptions to stay open for us if we requested dinner with them. It is directly opposite the entrance to the National park so it is great for visiting Rio Celeste Waterfall. You can also easily walk to the free swimming spot about 1km down the road!
