We also brought our dog and she was very spoiled with a dog bed treats and beautiful gardens to run around in. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was excellent as were the staff. Overall Thornbury castle did not disappoint

Concierge accommodated our request for picking up the key early, and gave us a free upgrade to the Deluxe Prince Arthur room. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the large bathroom was a pleasure to use, and the period features were in beautiful working condition. We enjoyed the elegant and delicious breakfast, especially as we were not made to feel out of place in the grand setting of the castle with the beautiful dinnerware. We will be coming to stay again!
