The market was under renovation when we were there which...
The market was under renovation when we were there which meant that stalls we scattered throughout the town which did make car travel a bit tricky - we stayed in one of the streets where a lot of the stalls were located (kejung) and this made it difficult for our driver to drop and pick us up

The sellers are quite pushy and do become plain aggressive when see you're not about to buy anything. Not the place I'd recommend if you want to maintain the idea of friendly locals and authentic market experience!

Lots of arts and handicrafts and you gotta bargain hard to get a good rate. They will start with really high price! If you are not the bargaining kind of person, go to Krishna Ole-Ole in Kuta, fixed price with good rates, and quality items too.

Fun! Start early, so you can just stroll around the whole day. Have a good bargain with the sellers, cause that's the national Indonesian sport! But never get angry if you don't get the price you want to. It's just a game! Most of all: enjoy everything and all the people.

Staff were so friendly and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was delicious and nice choices available. We stayed in a family room which was a lovely space. Pool area lovely. We loved being so close to nature.

The room was nice and clean. Putu (the owner) was always asking if everything was ok and if I needed anything. The whole family is the nicest ppl. I’d totally stay again if I come back to Ubud.
