The visit to the Partition Museum is really a great...
The visit to the Partition Museum is really a great experience for us. Very well designed; and it gives us a true feeling of the incidents around the partition event. We only hoped that we had more time to to spend here. We were looking to purchase a commemorative volume giving a good description of the exhibits; but we could not find any in the vicility.

Luckily the hotel driver had come to pick us up from the airport. Getting to the hotel was a challenge as the roads to Golden Temple/hotel were closed because of Baisakhi & he used the narrow by lanes to get us to the hotel! We also had the same driver for Wagah Border who suggested we leave the hotel at 3pm!

It has a great view of the temple. The hotel is very close to the Golden Temple, in the pedestrian area - so less honking! It is close to the excellent partition museum and to Jallianwala Bagh park.
