Free shuttle bus service from the station to the hotel is convenient too. The breakfast was great with a choice between Western bread style or Japanese rice style. Staff was very friendly, the food (dinner and breakfast) was beautiful and tasted great. Loved the serene views of Lake Kawaguchi and Mt. Fuji right out of your room window. Onsen was nice and relaxing. Tatami rooms were clean, was not super comfortable for sleep, but that was what we expected as we are not used to it. Appreciated the free pickup and drop off at Kawaguchiko station. Overall, 10/10, a great overnight experience and would stay here again if we revisited Mt. Fuji. :)LindaUnited States of America

The rooms were very spacious and bathrooms seemed updated in the room. We didn't pay for dinner, but the breakfast was delicious! Definitely seemed worth paying the price listed for a one night stay. This place is so convenient to the ropeway and the shuttle van will pick you up and take you back to Kawaguchiko station, which was very nice. Fuji from the bedroom windows in the morning, and if you want an even better view, Lake Kawaguchi is just a 2-minute walk away. There is also a Family Mart and a bus stop for the sightseeing Omnibus within walking distance. Second, the cottage is clean, comfortable, and way more spacious than a typical hotel room. We had a splendid view of Mt. Fuji from the bedrooms and from the private Jacuzzi room. The owner is friendly and speaks some English - it is accessible to foreign visitors. The room was large, comfortable and impeccably clean. The location is 10-15 minutes by taxi from Kawaguchiko station. The hotel has a music room with a piano, guitars etc. for guest use.

We got garden view room and the view is amazing. It is actually a lake and mountain and garden view! The morning buffet is great with many options. The 8 courses fuji traditional meal for dinner is really delicious too! Hotel offers free shuttle bus to Lake Kawaguchi, where you can find all highway express bus to take you to any place.

I had the Japanese room and it was quiet and the futons were really comfortable. They had a heater in the room so I wouldnt feel cold. It was just about 5 mins walk away from Oogi bus stop which is very convenient to take the bus. Lake Kawaguchiko is also right opposite the Oogi bus stop, it was lovely to walk. I am also very happy the hostel provides bicycles for rent because I cycled around the lake and it was really fun!TanMalaysia
