Lake Nojiri really blew my expectations away, it is a perfect place to get away to and enjoy nature. It was a mountains nearby for those who love hiking, either for day trips or multi-day excursions. You can also hire a bicycle to explore the area in more depth or you can take part in water sports such as kayaking, paddle boarding, canoeing or even swim in the lake!

The hotel is newly renovated, very clean, the rooms were spacious and had incredible views over the lake, breakfast was delicious and Chris and Mark went out of their way to help us. It is a 2 minute walk from the Lake Nojiri, which is super convinient as you can do SUP, kayaking and other water activities there and then return to the hotel to rest. For those staying with the kids, there is TV with youtube/netfilx and of course - internet if you want to bring your own device. Also, there is a game room with board games and table football.
