Wear good thermal clothing that covers your ears and neck. It can get fairly cold and the wind can be chilly, so make sure to dress appropriately in warm clothing. If you plan to walk on the ice, wear proper shoes. Also, consider getting shades as the sun can be really bright.

The host especially was really friendly with us and also helped us with some tours to Charyn Canyon and Kolsay Lake. She welcomed us with a pleasant smile and supported us right throughout the trip. The location of the facility is amazing right near the Kok Tobe cable car and also near important Bus Lines to Shymbulak and Abai metro station.
