You can easily spend half a day in what looks like a traditional Romanian village made up of a huge amount of old houses which were brought here from all over the country. It is the second largest open air museum in Europe. A must. There is a high variety of architecture and some extrordinary buildings such as wooden churches with frescoes from the late Middle Ages.

A giant museum! But exceeded my personal expectations.
A giant museum! But exceeded my personal expectations. The houses were so beautiful and authentic. They had live sheep, a donkey, geese and we saw a man riding a horse carriage. Toilets could be prettier and better wellkept though (toilets always had paper though!)
