The view was nice but the nearby Elephant Mountain (Xiangshan) was a way better experience and much nicer view. If you are in the Taipei 101, take the effort and climb the mountain. You wont' regret it. Or if you don't have enough time to do both, I'd recommend the Mountain!

Taipei 101 was great, but one thing I'd keep in mind is the line situation. Since the elevators are so small, you will need to wait in a pretty long line to go up as well as go down. If you need to get somewhere quickly after going, you'll want to account for the time it takes to wait in line.

A very typical shopping mall with many luxurious shops. The view of the observation deck pretty much depends on the weather and your photography technique. The ticket is not cheap at all.
