Lovely sightseeing spot, and free access (don’t forget ID to get in!). We got the free bus from Hollywood downtown which came regularly up and back from Griffith observatory. The sights are beautiful, and perfect to see the Hollywood sign too. Easy to get the stroller around with a few steps here and there. Lots of options for lunch, however bit expensive. We went for when it opened and felt it wasn’t overly crowded the whole time. Really worth popping to see!

Visit on a clear night so you can see planets through the telescopes. Also, plan your journey through the exhibition so that you can make it to all the special shows you’re interested in that start at different times - you won’t want to miss one! I especially enjoyed the Tesla coil show.

Beautiful setting and a great place to see the Hollywood...
Beautiful setting and a great place to see the Hollywood sign. The planetarium show was nice and there are many paths for walking. Lunch in the cafe was good and you can sit outside if you eat later than the lunch crowd.

Walkable (20 minutes ish) to Hollywood boulevard. Secure indoor parking was great. Apartment is spacious, kitchen has basic equipment but no amenities such as coffee filters etc. Staff were very responsive to what app messages. Check in information clear and process was very easy. Great for a short stay with older kids (late teens)

Property has a security guard and Uber picks you up inside the hotel property. Parking is safe. Rooms are clean. Uber to the bars (Rainbow, Whiskeyagogo, Comedy Store etc...) is not expensive. The hotel is a bit of a party hotspot but being on the 3rd floor, the noise didn't bother us at all. The pool and rooftop bar are fantastic. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel is in easy walking distance to the Hollywood Walk of Fame and even walkable to Griffith Observatory (quite a walk, but it's possible!)
