A fun trip. Cashless now. Parking is at least $32.
A fun trip. Cashless now. Parking is at least $32. There is the main park, a waterpark (extra ticket) and many many add on experiences (not cheap). All day dining is a must as most meals with a drink would set you back $25-30 each with a drink. 3 of us for main park only, all day dining, and parking was just under $400. Be aware not all attractions and areas are open all day. We missed out on a whole section of the park because it closed at 6 instead of 9 like the rest of the park. The rides were great, the exhibits and animal shows were great and the animals seem very well cared for compared to my childhood. The areas they have now are massive.AAnonymous - 6.0Scored 6.0

PLEASE beware that rainy day tickets from Sea World DO NOT apply to Aquatica. You have to get tickets from both parks the day it rains BEFORE you leave the parks even if you purchased multi park tickets that were rained out. We literally had to give day, time, and name of person who told us we didn't need both to get in the next day. I had to show proof with my phone logs that I had spoken to a San Antonio Ambassador to get the Aquatica rainy day passes. To top that off, all 4 of our All Day Dining bracelets of 44.99 per person and our $40 VIP parking was all lost. The parks could at least offer a discount toward the purchase of new bracelets and parking. We got rained out at 11:45 and the park didn't open until 10:30 but everybody I talked to about it just shrugged it off like sorry for your $265 loss. Fun park but watch out for the fine print.

Bring a water bottle.
Bring a water bottle. Drinking fountains are near pretty much every restroom and anywhere they have a soda fountain will give you free ice. You don't need to buy drinks unless you really want a soda. The dolphins and sharks are at Discovery Point outside the ticket gate for Sea World itself. It seemed that we didn't need admission for Discovery Point.
