It’s two blocks from a main subway line, which we utilized purchasing a 3 day pass, and close to the museums and memorials. The gym is state of the art and very clean. The breakfast was excellent and great bar to enjoy a drink. It’s also relatively close to the Old Ebbitt Grill, which we found to have the best food, drinks and atmosphere. Instead of trying to get a reservation we just sat at the bar which was great. Don’t miss the tour of the Capitol and the Library of Congress which were awesome.

I was able see the capitol from my hotel room window. Talk about having an AMAZING view! Basically almost all monuments, museums etc. are in walkable distance, and if not, the metro station is 5 min from the hotel!MMaryamGermany

We walked to all tourist areas which included the Capitol Building and the Lincoln Memorial. The room was large and comfortable and kept very clean. The restaurant was excellent offering a wonderful buffet breakfast and good choices in the evening if required. The staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Washington DC.

From there it was a short walk to the hotel. Also the Capitol is at walking distance. Our room was not available (double room with two queens), but we got a very good deal in return (two rooms with two king beds). Kids were very happy with that. There are enough nice restaurants in the neighbourhood. Breakfast at the hotel was the best we had during our round trip through the eastcoast of the US.

Staff were helpful on both check in and check out. Rooms were adequate, nothing special jumps to mind, but certainly acceptable for a one night stay. We didn't have time to fully explore the amenities, but the shop in the hotel lobby was amazing - just what you need in an area that didn't seem to have many convenience stores.
