AMAZING. Get there early. 8am is too late.
AMAZING. Get there early. 8am is too late. By 8:30 it is packed. The chairlifts start at 7:30am. Those big tourist busses start arriving at 7:45am. Also pre purchase your chairlift/admission tickets…gonna save you some hassle.

I have toured Marble Mountain several times in the past, but this is the first time in many years and the tour today is significantly different than it was 20 years ago. You used to have to cave crawl to get to the top of Marble Mountain for the sunset views, but now access is via stone stairs.

Lots of stairs and steep - very slippery and dangerous when wet so be careful if you go during wet season. Interesting to see the temples in the mountains etc. Quick visit is all that’s needed. Afternoon less people and not as busy. It was a rainy day so wasn’t very busy. Great view of Da Nang from the top.

Beautiful mountain which accords one a spectacular view of Da Nang and Hoi An, as well as the beach and the biggest Buddha in Vietnam far across the ocean. One must take time to climb the hundreds of steep and slippery marbled/cement combo stairs, some are quite narrow and small. Minimum 3 hours hiking/walking. Caves are beautiful and so cool!!! Bring your water and change of dry top, wear comfy hiking shoes, have a hat or bring an umbrella. Take your time especially going up and down the stairs. Go in through Gate 1 and go out through Gate 2, they’re only 5-minute walk entrance 2 each other.

It's a very nice place with many viewpoints (incl. 360deg), temples and fresh air. The big cave (Huyen Khong Cave) with temples is a fascinating place with a great atmosphere. Don't forget to visit it! Marble Mountains are a must-see place should you stay in Da Nang or Hoi An. It's worth to stay 2hrs or so.

We were very comfortable in our family room with good AC, WiFi, two big comfortable beds and windows facing the sea which we could open. The location was great to explore lots of restaurants and cafes and the beach front. We did fantastic day trips to the Marble Mountains, Lady Buddha and My Son which we booked easily via our Grab driver. We walked 15mins to Thia Go for the best dinner of our trip!
