My room was clean and comfortable. Whilst there was only a kettle and small fridge in the room, there was a communal full kitchen /dining area for meal prep (reminiscent of a hostel or ski lodge). The room and common areas were clean and fresh. The bed was comfortable and the ensuite bathroom was adequate for a short stay. I chose not to have my room serviced so had no interactions with staff other than the helpful emails containing information related to access and instructions for my departure. I would definitely recommend the Blue Wren Lodge and would stay there again.
