Our June visit coincided with unusually cold weather for that time of year and therefore the wildlife was quieter than you would expect. That said we saw plenty during our four days with Pablo and Bene being our excellent guides during that time. The Lodge is beautifully set in bushland and a nearby waterway on which we enjoyed a couple of kayak excursions. The birdlife was plentiful and varied including the resident hyacinth macaws - a very entertaining trio. Plenty of monkey sightings too. Loved our stay!

Very nice resort in the middle of nature. They organise trips like safari, horse riding, walking..every day. The trip are well organised; the guide try to let you spot animals as much as possible (even if they don't explain anything, for that you need a private guide). We manage also to spot a jaguar during our last safari! The facilities are quite nice and the food excellent.

Lovely rooms and comfortable bed. We stayed 3 nights and saw lots of birds, in particular a family of Hyacinth Macaws in the tree on the grounds of the lodge. There were also monkeys in the trees. The pool was great in the heat, but we did need insect repellent when we got out! The staff were all very attentive, the guides were all trained biologists and very knowledgeable. The food was excellent, probably the best we had in Brazil overall. A great stay.

We had a lovely time at Aymara Lodge. The guides (Pablo and Caio) were so friendly and welcoming. They were incredibly knowledgeable about the region and it’s wildlife and their enthusiasm made our time at the lodge really enjoyable. The food was nice and there was something for everyone, the service staff were lovely as well. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the location was really beautiful. Everything ran smoothly and overall we had a great time.

It was a fantastically beautiful lodge in the middle of nature. Already in the lodge itself, one saw a lot of animals. My personal highlight were the hyacinth macaws. A dream came true to watch them in the great outdoors. The excursions are also very well organized and provided unforgettable experiences. Again, a big thank you to Pablo ☺️ About the food we can only say that everything was very, very tasty. We had an unforgettable stay and would definitely recommend Amaya Lodge to others
