The rooms have character ++, warmth with the ambience of your own open fire. The main lodge was warm and inviting, the staff were wonderful. If you are look for a wilderness experience, dramatic landscapes and comfort, this is the place to be!

For what they're charging in Lake Louise and Banff these days, Emerald Lake Lodge offers excellent value. The fireplace in the room is great, and we actually like that wi-fi is only available in the main lodge. It's a great spot to get off the grid for a few days. As a Calgarian, I try to book a stay here at least once a year.

Room had a fireplace in it and logs which we didn't use as weather was hot. Handy shuttle bus takes you from car park to welcoming hotel reception. Great position on Emerald lake, very scenic. I had breakfast on both mornings and two evening meals, all were delicious. The staff were first class and attentive. My room was lovely, a comfortable bed with warm duvet. Great products in the bathroom, good quality towels and all the extra amenities. Shower was a good pressure with plenty of hot water. I thoroughly enjoyed my 2 night stay and would certainly recommend Emerald Lake Lodge.SandraGroup
