Fantastic location and the owner was lovely! Really helpful, cooked us a great breakfast and sent us (with a discount voucher) to one of our trip highlights, the river safari on Blue River. Had a great meal at the Moose pub in town.

The lodge was easy to find. The hosts were very welcoming. The lodge was comfortable and cozy feeling. The beds were super comfy, and cleanliness was exceptional. Breakfast was prepared in front of us, even the coffee was great!

I really enjoyed my night at the Cougar Mountain Lodge BnB. The breakfast was great, I chose the eggs and protein option which also came with fruit and toast. I stayed in one of the "triple" rooms and it was very clean and updated. I also appreciated the black out blinds and individual door codes for each room. I also found it to be pretty quiet despite booking.com telling me that I booked the last room available. You can tell that a lot of care has gone into maintenance.

Everything was above expectations! The lodge is a beautiful mix of modern and rustic. The cleanest lodge ever found! Very well located. The breakfast was really amazing. We are still grateful to Kevin and Justina for there help at the end of a long and difficult hiking day….We will surely go back in the future.

Nice large room with comfortable king size bed. Super friendly and welcoming staff. Sitting area for breakfast was quite cosy and lodge-like. Breakfast was relatively simple. Microwave and fridge in the room is clearly a plus. The location is very calm and there are a few restaurants nearby.

The overall stay was excellent. The grounds were wonderful and the hosts lovely. The only issue is as the structure is a log home, the guests on the main floor hear every movement from the rooms above. We let the hosts know, and they are working on a solution. We will be back, but will request a room upstairs.

I enjoyed staying here as it brought back so many memories. My mother actually managed this hotel when it was called the canoe mountain lodge. We lived in one of the suites on the 2nd floor.
