Excellent location, beautiful view and pretty private. Staff was very prompt when we asked them to look at the AC. They set up our taxi to the airport on departure day. Very friendly when around, but did not come around unless asked to. Loved the kitchen, deck, hammocks. 2 AC units, my friends like it colder than I, this way we were all happy.

best stay while in Costa Rica!!! very good accommodation for the price - we really enjoyed our stay! they Organizer tours for us, that were very well. we could use a fridge and the kitchen, they provided us with filtered water for free.

the taxi from the boat and to the airport were very prompt and good communication. The house was beautiful clean and the air conditioned bedrooms were nice. The walk up the hill is a decent climb. we loved the tapir trail tour and the night bug tour.

Las Caletas was definitely the best stay in our 3-week trip in Central America. In a secluded position far from Drake bay (you can only reach the place by boat or walking for 30 minutes) you will find this peaceful oasis. We slept with the sound of the waves and woke up by the sound of macaws and howler monkeys. The staff is great and the meals are amazing. We spent 3 nights there, it's the minimum one could do!

Shirley absolutely makes this place! I've traveled quite a bit and I've stayed in a lot of hotel/lodges, but I've never met such accommodating hosts! Our luggage was temporarily lost when we initially arrived, it was a whole fiasco, but Shirley and Claudio took care of the whole thing and coordinated with the airport for us. Claudio is a fantastic chef and I would highly recommend making dinner reservations. I genuinely cannot say enough good things about Shirley and the rest of the people working here, they were all super kind and made our stay here very enjoyable. Our room was pretty basic but it was very clean and had a great view from the balcony. There's no A/C but each bed had a fan so it wasn't really an issue.

This place is stunning. It's so remote that you have the entire beach to yourself. The huts are beautiful and well looked after. The hosts always ask what time you would like your breakfast and a lovely breakfast was always made on time, even at 5am when needed! Highly recommended this hotel if you are looking for peace and quiet, with a beautiful beach to watch Parrots and Halloween crabs for. 10/10

He took us to our cabin which overlooked the bay with stunning views. The lodge itself had everything we needed for our stay, was extremely clean and in the perfect location. Highly recommend booking the guided tour to Corcovado NP (Sirena station) with Javier. Ema's restaurant recommendations were also spot on. We only wished we could have stayed in this paradise longer!

Tamandua has beautiful trails that follow a river so the property and location was perfect. The cabin was very clean and our balcony had a great view of the garden and forest. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony after hiking the trails and one afternoon saw a Tayra run through the garden. We stayed 3 nights which was a perfect amount of time to explore the property. The food was delicious. Rebecca arranged our taxi to and from the lodge which was appreciated.
