The fact that we have been here 3 times, should speak for itself. The rooms are modest and the nature around it, is unbelievable. Breakfast with monkeys and Tucans will be unforgettable. My room was light and spacious and the property is really beautiful, with tonnes of animals. Walter and Rosy are fantastic hosts who have been in Golfito for decades. I also found Golfito itself to be surprisingly charming. There is a bay, surrounded by jungle clad hillsides and lots of old wooden buildings from the American banana company - it feels like the setting of a novel.

Just ask the bus driver to stop at the bus stop near the lodge. It is great to see the monkeys in the trees and hear all the birds in the morning. The staff is really friendly and helpful. If you like you can walk to Golfito and get a cheap taxi ride back.
