The lodge is beautiful, set in the hills next to a rain forest. My room reminded me of log cabin but with a modern bath room. I loved sitting on my balcony with the beautiful landscaping of trees & flower plants. I would awake to see the sheep grazing on the hills. You can walk into a little forest to a running creek, very cool. All of the staff are wonderful, and the owner Ruben is great & very helpful letting me know all of the things to do in the area. And the breakfast & dinners are very good, they have an awesome chef. I will definitely be back to stay here again!!

The large rooms have a lovely balcony with a very nice view over the grounds and valley. Even though we arrived late, a lovely meal was prepared for us and put in the room for us to enjoy after a very long trip. Management and staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast (included) was excellent, as was the dinner ($20 extra). Location along Ct 22 is actually convenient for Heredia/ Eastern San Jose, while being away from the busy city.
