Friendliest hosts one could have! Beautiful super location by a river, amazing food prepared by Sadamali and they were very helpful and kind. They helped us organize the safari which was a wonderful experience. It is excellent. The hotel is beautifully designed. Freedom at its best. Super good value for money!

Absolutely everything was amazing! Clean and big room, the owner was very nice, showed our his beautiful garden. He arranged a safari for us at a very favorable price, he gave us biscuits, water and a banana for the safari journey. The dinner and breakfast was really big and good. After our stay he took us to Ella and bought us a coconut.

We hardly ever score 10 out of 10, but these owners were (it has been mentioned before) very lovely, attentive and great fun to talk to. And then we didn't even mention the great cooking they did and the chance we had to join them in the kitchen! We were unlucky to only have one night. Besides from this, the spacious room and facilities are in a great shape: good shower, good airco, nice beds, a great balcony with (yes, there is only place for one ... 😉) very comfy chair! And the location, in the middle of their own piece of jungle .. Just lovely! We forgot something when we left, but they immediately called and he even brought it with his motorcycle to the car we were in ... All the service. So very much recommended. They have only two rooms, so you are lucky if you can book here.

We stayed 2 nights in this village jungle oasis among coconut trees, at this super friendly family. Great location, a bit off the beaten path but very comfortable, great huge bed, no mosquitos. Super shower! Our hosts cooked great food for us, we got the best breakfast during our 3week stay in Sri Lanka. We also went on a super full day safari with Sujee, was a highlight of our trip, saw many elephants!

A balcony out of wood and a hammock to relax in the garden. The room has a mosquito net and the shower is a waterfall. Such a nice host, good communication, good food and service. He organized a safari with a skilled, nice and friendly driver. He took care of the tickets and everything, great al inclusive package . We saw so many beautiful animals and they even arranged a breakfast for us at a nice place in the national park.

The lodge is very close to the entrance which is great during high season. Breakfast was Srilankan and huge & an evening meal. We had food supplied on our safari with Kuma safari's, which was also great & . On our request Kuma organised our onward taxi to Mirissa. Our host was extremely friendly & helpful throughout our 2 night stay.

Most special accommodation in this price range with had in Sri Lanka. 100% recommend Host was very kind and the food was incredible. Also booked the safari with them for a fair price.

We did the safari and it was amazing - we saw so many animals and learnt so much. We'd recommend paying for one of the official park guides - it was cheap and he was so knowledgeable. Our driver was great too and in communication with other drivers to ensure we saw lots of wildlife. Lahiru was a great host and also let me use the kitchen which was appreciated.
