The owners are amazingly nice and helpful as are their cats and dogs. The room was big, beautifully decorated with a nice bathroom and the best squishy thick soft towel I’ve had in a very long time. The trees bring lots of pretty birds and you can easily walk to the center. The bed was super comfy and it was spotless clean. There is tea and proper coffee in the room which was great. It is honestly cheap for the quality of the lodging. Wifi was also fast

Friendly staff, good breakfast as usual in this class of accommodation, sensibly priced. Close to beach and Jetty. Rooms a bit dark and quite rustic, at least those adjacent to the courtyard. Which is actually quite charming, but would rather be expected on a farm or in a lodge.

Rossmund Lodge is a bit out of the “hustle and bustle” of Swakopmund and that makes it the perfect spot to reach everything and then return to relaxing in the quiet of the natural surroundings and beauty of a golf course with spring boks in the middle of the desert! We booked in February and there were some mistake on the website regarding a washer being present in the room… The mistake was rectified since then but we didn’t know and Andrea and Anna - the 2 AWESOME receptionists helped me by doing my washing for me… WOW!

The proximity from the hotel/lodge to the beach. The breakfast was good, Ms Sophie and the other woman I forgot her name were awesome. The beds are comfortable and the room spacious. Apparently we were upgraded because of the many days we spent there, thankful for that.

The location was ideal. Walking distance from the center of town and restaurants. Breakfast choices were very good and special accommodations were made for me because I don’t eat meat. The staff courteous and helpful. I needed someone with knowledge of lodges in another area and Inga put me into contact with the perfect person. One evening on our way out to dinner, the security guard told my friend that she should not carry her backpack because of the potential dangers. Now that’s thoughtful. Thank you.

After Lodges and Camping it was a nice variety during our trip. The house it’s a really cozy place which had kind like luxury style and bathroom. It was also nice to chat with Jochen the Owner. From the location it was simple to reach the beach and the city or nearby supermarket (Spar) with car within a couple of minutes.
