Visit end Sep 23. One of my top 3 hotels out of over 30 I stayed at during my 5 week trip in Norway. Beautiful location with exceptional rooms, spaces and the most helpful and friendly staff out of all the places I stayed. Amazing food and ambiance. Contemporary and eclectic. Will definitely be back!

We stayed in the the Elva cabin which was delightful- cozy, comfortable, spacious and well thought out. the expansive windows gave us a relaxing view into the forest and the thrill of seeing dogs run by from time to time. Upstairs was a lovely nook. We ate every dinner on site (country style x2, fine dining x1) and the quality of food and service was exceptional. Really top notch. Johnny (Trasti) is highly visible and involved and really cares about his guests and makes everyone feel valued. Breakfast was great and lasted until 10, which allowed us to sleep in a bit. We also had pizza on Friday night and picked up things from the bakery on Saturday. the baked good were some of the best we’ve had. We loved our dog sledding as well- so much fun and incredibly lucky we got to go with Trine! What an experience! We wish we had booked another trip and also wished we had stayed longer. Huge perk as well was being able to visit the dogs throughout the day, even if not dog sledding. We will definitely be back. would recommend renting a car. taxis are very expensive and limited. It’s really easy to drive around and having a car gives you options to explore (like we did) things around the area.

The activities I went on (all bar one) were all amazing and well guided and so much fun, the guides were all really nice.

Great area for northern lights viewing if you have clear skies. Staff were friendly and the room was comfortable. Good breakfast in a nice environment. I got to see great northern lights, stunning snowy landscapes and even some Moose😀😀

We only stayed one night due to time constraints but we absolutely loved it. The staff could not have done more for us and made an extra effort to add some lovely touches to our room to celebrate our honeymoon. They also collected us at last minute from elsewhere in alta as we could not get transport to them. The area is beautiful and the dome was a wonderful experience with northern lights right outside. We would definitely stay again and thank you so much !

The interior is very nice and clean and the people from Flatmoen Natur are very friendly and helpful. I'd recommend to google and book some activities from Flatmoen Natur when staying there.

Alten Lodge was perfect mach for us! It is located on the top of small hill, there is stunning view tonthe fjord! The house is modern and clean, there is enough space for max three persons. Lodge was clean and equipped with all necessary equipment! After long day we really enjoied sauna and terrace outside!MargusYoung couple

This lodge is located in the middle of nowhere, bull moose that cried loud in the night and husky dogs all around, it was really what we looked for.. unfortunately We spent just one night and couldn't Walk around for a hike in this beautiful place..
