The house is so beautifully designed with the windows overlooking garden and pasture. It was also very serene and quiet - just what we needed. I would definitely recommend it to stay!

The lodge is an easy drive into Rotarua and in a fabulous location on the lake with free access to kayaks, BBQ, 2 hot tubs and a small pool. The children had a great time and the lake is really shallow so they were safe to go out quite far on the water. Lots of outdoor space and play areas. Welcome hamper of wine, biscuits, chocolates and sweets was a lovely touch. The big screen TV was also great for the kids as we had a rainy morning the second day .

We had a great time and a good company with the other guests on the shared breakfast table. Breakfast was great. We can only recommend Parkside Boutique Lodge and we would come back anytime.

The lodge is brand new, very clean, and well-thought-out. The location is also very good, quiet yet close to many attractions by car. The small private area outside for you to enjoy. Nice common kitchen, great breakfast prepared by the host. Good value for money

Within moments of walking in the reception we knew we'd have a nice stay. The rooms were great, the reveptiom and house keeping staff went to great lengths to be welcoming and friendly. The Christmas decorations throughout were beautiful. The bar had a lovely ski lodge feel to it. The bar staff were also lovely. The free laundry was really helpful.
