Mel prepared us a wonderful breakfast, probably the best in our five weeks of travel. There were choices to suit what we felt like and the scrambled eggs were perfect. I loved the cereal choices and the great coffees. We also appreciated the fruit cake and cookies and other treats that were generously provided. The room was very comfortable with quality bedding and furniture and a beautiful bathroom and great views of the mountains. Mel’s care and warmth were very much appreciated, and her restaurant recommendations were great!

Our room was spacious and well equipped, with an amazing spa bath in the bathroom. Mel was the most amazing host and made us feel so welcome, and went out of her way to help - including dinner recommendations and ten serving us breakfast earlier than scheduled due to an early start. We wish we could have stayed for longer than our 1 night!

Nice big bathroom, washing machine, great verandah and big fully functional kitchen with all the equipment needed to cook a meal and clean up afterwards (yes there is a dishwasher).
