The rooms, kitchen and dining areas are all very clean, spacious, homely and decorated beautifully. It is a short walk out from town, perched up on the hill with stunning views. There’s a free washing machine for use, clothes line, plenty of grass and a fire pit. Extremely peaceful and beautiful, our favourite stay in Peru.

Also I am very sensible about smell but this place , I don't smell anything, feel hygenic. The other thing I like about this lodge is I can hear the flow of the river so I don't need any music on. WiFi was very good as was the breakfast served in a dining area.. Dinner involved driving less than 10mins to ther town centre. Location is good being on the only route to the extensive terracing and fortress.

Steven who runs the place is the nicest guy ever! he is so helpful and caring and also speaks English very well.
