We stayed at Villa Arumeru for one night after completing a 3 day safari. The grounds and the hotel itself were beautiful, and the staff were all super friendly and helpful. We had a sometimes cranky toddler with us and throughout the stay they did all they could to cheer him up. Prior to our stay, they reached out to change our rooms to better accommodate our group, and the change was perfect, complete with a shared balcony with a view of Mt Meru. The food at the restaurant was great, and it was the perfect respite spot after three days driving all over the parks. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Arusha!

The rooms are clean and confortable, with a lush green window view. The staff are nice. Anitha changed a room for me, took my belongings there, and folded up my clothes while I was out. It makes me feel at home, and reminds me of my mother who often tidied up my room and folded up my clothes when i was a teenager. Appreciate it.

It takes about an hour to get there from the airport. The staff were extremely welcoming and very happy to help. I stayed the day before embarking on my safari, and for two nights after the safari. The hotel is very quiet, and felt very safe. The bedrooms are nice and meet all your needs. Having a pool is a plus (although it was quite cold), and the food was generally very good.

I would highly recommend staying before, during or after your safari or staying all together while you are in Arusha!

Watching the sun rise over Mount Meru was spectacular. The staff are so friendly and went above and beyond to make us welcome. The food was generally very good.
