Staying is this hotel was beautiful experience - hotel is located at the very end of beach and gives an escape from bysy Kiwengwa beach. You can relax at hotel and have some fun at the beach - best of both. Infinity pool and view from it was best feature - no other hotel in Zanzibar has view like Shooting Star. Breakfast was good, staff was very welcoming and helpful. If you want peaceful stay, beautiful views and still be close to activities and local restaurants - this is the best hotel. One additional recommendation - when staying at this hotel - have dinner/lunch at Amour restaurant nearby - you will not regret it.

First and foremost, the location was simply breathtaking, and its just a short walk away from the beach. The room was perfect and spacious, with plenty of storage. The entire place was beautifully decorated. The staff deserves special recognition for their exceptional hospitality. From the moment I arrived, they greeted me warmly and went above and beyond. I would definitely recommend this hidden gem!

Our stay at Z-Lodge was absolutely incredible.Room: beauty of the natural materials used in the furniture and the lovely paintings on the walls. Garden, 2 pools, ocean cliffs- It was like paradise. But the real highlight was definitely the restaurant on the ocean pier. The food was out of this world, and the views were breathtaking. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. We will be happy to plan our next visit!

The beach was nice and private, we were feasting on fresh fruits everyday, highly recommend the seafood soup, and super nice staff all the time. `The rooms are Seaview and with a large restaurant deck over the water. The staff were incredibly friendly and that combined with the incredible ocean view , beautiful clean lodges and wonderfully prepared food means that we will definitely be coming back .
