This place was beyond expectations :). The staff is super nice, it was great to listen to the old Aspen stories. The place with unique atmosphere and a very decent price for Aspen. I was a bit afraid of the traffic noise, but it did not bother.

For a gal traveling alone, the single room with shared bath is all I need, and the location can't be beat. I park my car and walk or take the Downtowner. I do wish breakfast had some cold cuts and cheeses to complete the euro feel, but it's not a big deal. I also enjoy the heated pool in the late evening, so quiet and restful.

We loved the uninterrupted view of Shadow mountain from the heated pool and shaded garden. Our room was simple and comfy and had all we needed. And the continental breakfast was an unexpected bonus. Add amicable and knowledgeable staff to the mix, and what is not to love!JonYoung couple
