This place was beyond expectations :). The staff is super nice, it was great to listen to the old Aspen stories. The place with unique atmosphere and a very decent price for Aspen. I was a bit afraid of the traffic noise, but it did not bother.

Very nostalgic! We were blessed to locate & secure the very same room where we spent our honeymoon 36 yrs ago❣️ It took us back in time to where this magical marriage all started. The front desk staff was very relaxed & helpful to our needs (like figuring out the room lock🤪) The location is superb to casually get to everything we needed including the John Denver Tribute concert at The Wheeler. Totally pleased that they still provide Apen Mountain Lodge turkish bathrobes ❤️

I have stayed here numerous times. I love the European feel of the lodge. For a gal traveling alone, the single room with shared bath is all I need, and the location can't be beat. I park my car and walk or take the Downtowner. I do wish breakfast had some cold cuts and cheeses to complete the euro feel, but it's not a big deal. I also enjoy the heated pool in the late evening, so quiet and restful.

Old school Aspen lodge with wonderful touches, such as original art work and ski paraphernalia. Rooms are huge and come with a kitchenette. Perfect for a good nights sleep. Oh, and the Keurig coffee bar in the reception is a treat.

What a bonus to be able to enjoy Aspen with this friendly lodge as a base. We loved the uninterrupted view of Shadow mountain from the heated pool and shaded garden. Our room was simple and comfy and had all we needed. And the continental breakfast was an unexpected bonus. Add amicable and knowledgeable staff to the mix, and what is not to love!
