Each A-Frame chalet is built from stone, timber and thatch. It features rustic décor with hand made furniture and wood finishes. It comes with a fully equipped kitchen and the bathroom includes a shower.

The resort was allocated in a beautiful valley between the mountains. The nature is amazing and the staff are very friendly. The rooms are stunning, and luxurious. Has all the facilities required. Would definitely recommend the Luxury suites.

I love the chalet. It's clean, cozy and neat. The kitchen has a gas stove, air fryer, refrigerator, toaster, pans and pots, etc. It has its own braai place but also provides a common one. I love that the animals are free to roam inside the location. The staff are very welcome, and help us with anything we need. The surprise is that if you stay in Ko Ka Tsara, you get free access to drive around the Lemonfontein Game Lodge. So, it's worth every penny and beyond our expectations.

Lovely lodge just outside the town. Beautiful lawns for my dog to run and explore. Game come and feed right by your doorstep. The self catering braai packs work well directly from the lodge. Staff were friendly and helpful. I will definitely go back.

Private gated land with a selection of animals including Giraffe 🦒. Accommodation was Fantastic. We stayed in the top Lodge. Property had lovely walks over their own land which is around 250 hecthectares. Lovely lakes and viewing points. Lovely food in the restaurant. Nice big showers and good facilities. Comfy beds. Great for self-catering if you so choose.

Beautiful setting with views of the Karoo and mountains. Spacious and comfortable rooms in an old hunting lodge that has retained its character. Lovely veranda where delicious food is served. Most of all, the staff are superb, not only efficient but so friendly they made our stay memorable. An ideal spot for anyone travelling along the N1 needing a break.

Although Beaufort West itself is a small, and fairly run-down spot these days, Old House Lodge provided excellent, comfortable lodgings. The proprieter was extremly helpful, and did my laundry on the house plus organized to courier me my leather boots that I left behind.

You don't expect too much in Beaufort West, but Ko Ka Tsara is absolutely magnificient. Girafes, Antelopes, warthogs, monkeys directly in front of the chalet must normally be expensively paid in high class lodges, but here it's for free. We didn't see much more animals in the Karoo NP. A nice Lapa, a clean pool, a bar, everything was perfect. Very interesting discussions with camp-manager. Chalets are beautiful, clean and fully equipped. Tasting food on request. Highly recommended!
