- gorgeous cottage - wonderful rustic feel , in the best way - fireplace was such a pleasure to keep us warm in winter along with electric blankets . The host also provided us with electric heaters but that wasn’t really necessary in the end . - the animals ! Just wonderful - the host was very helpful for anything we needed - the location is very close to the centre in a car ( less than 10 minutes )

Our apartment was on the first floor and was big and bright, the furniture was very typical and original. Fully immersed in the South African vibe. Natasha was a fantastic host and made us feel very welcome, and even assisted us shuttling between our lodge and the main residence.

The room was smaller than I expected, and the bathroom configuration wasn't practical, NO bath...?

Very comfortable bed and aircon and log fire available dependent on the temperature. Great breakfast in the main lodge. No restaurant - but a short drive to the excellent restaurant Arkeste. Tea and coffee in the room, and microwave and fridge - so you could self-cater. Cute drive through a mini-safari to get to the room.AlisonYoung couple

Various lodges to choose with or without self catering. The game park is an extra bonus.
